The farm was purchased in December 2014, and it was quickly realised how much peace and tranquillity it brought from the everyday hustle and bustle of city life. It soon became a haven for family and friends, only a short drive from Pretoria, to come rest and recharge in the majestic Water Mountains.

The farm was further developed, and various species of game and exotic game were introduced. Some of the species include Blue and Golden Wildebeest, Blesbuck, normal and Black Impala, Kudu, Waterbuck, Nyalas, Springbuck, Duiker and Bushbuck.

The building of the lodge started in December 2015 and has ever since been expanded on and improvements made to ensure that its guests will experience a memorable stay.

The farm and its facilities have recently been made available to the public so they too can experience the fun and tranquillity of Lewensdroom game farm and lodge.

The lodge is up on a hill and has a beautiful view over the valley and the Water Mountains. It has a full kitchen, bar, pool table, arcade games, DSTV, jukebox, swimming pool, trampoline, and a huge, private, enclosed boma area.

It can easily host up to 40 people but sleeps 30 in the six private en-suite rooms, two family rooms which sleep six each and one large room with six beds, ideal for friends sharing.

NOTE: The farm can only be booked for a minimum of 12 people and for a minimum of two nights per stay.
